Terms and Conditions

 

Thank you for taking an interest in Jocelyn Mifsud Photography. Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully. Should you decide to use our services, we will ask you to sign a printed copy before payment of the balance relating to our services. We will be happy to answer any questions or concerns you may have in relation to these Terms and Conditions at any time.

 

In the following terms & conditions “the photographer” shall mean Jocelyn Mifsud trading as Jocelyn Mifsud Photography. “The client(s)” shall be those persons defined in the booking form. It is mutually agreed that the following terms of agreement form an integral part of this contract and cannot be varied in any way by the client(s) unless such conditions are expressly agreed by the photographer in writing. By booking with the photographer, you agree to the below Terms and Conditions.

 

1. Booking Fee:

 A non refundable 20% deposit booking fee is required at the time of booking, in order to reserve and secure the appointment unless otherwise confirmed by Jocelyn Mifsud Photography. For studio sessions, re-scheduling is available only if another booking fee is paid. Payment may be made by cash or bank transfer. 

 

2. Payments:

20% Booking Fee to secure date and booking

50% Shooting Fee on the day of the event

30% Before the release of final images following online viewing

Full payment must be received before receiving the final images.

Payment may be made by cash or bank transfer

 

3.Storage of Images

Images are stored for 3 months after confirmation of receiving the photographs. After 3 months,  a surcharge will be applied if photographs need to be retrieved and re transferred.   

 

4.Copyright

The copyright and all other rights in the Photos shall be retained by Jocelyn Mifsud, trading as Jocelyn Mifsud Photography. The Photographer asserts the right to be credited as the author of the Photos in accordance with sections 77 and 78 of Copyright, Designs, and Patents Act 1988. Any unauthorised reproduction of any Photos will constitute a breach of copyright. The Photographer reserve the right without limitation,  to publish the photographed images on websites and public relations promotions materials, such as marketing and admissions publications. These images may appear in any of the wide variety of formats and media available, and may be available in future, including but not limited to print, and electronic social media, if not otherwise stated or agreed to in writing in advance.

 

5. Ownership 

All digital negatives remain the property of Jocelyn Mifsud, trading as Jocelyn Mifsud Photography.

All photographs taken are without compensation to "the client".
